ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The “Women Who Want to Work in Golf” program has been created for former and current female collegiate golfers, who are interested in pursuing a career working in the golf industry. This program will provide a one-of-a-kind opportunity for education, professional development, career advancement and direct connection to employers.  The program also increases awareness of the availability of talented females looking to enter the golf business. 

The program is held in conjunction with NCAA Division I Women’s Golf Championship in Scottsdale, Arizona. The dates of the program will be May 21-23, 2023.

The application deadline is March 24th at 6pm ET. Program participants will be announced on April 4th.

    OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAM

    • Raise awareness and connection to opportunities available across the industry
    • Increase the understanding and application of skills necessary to secure positions in the industry
    • Provide an opportunity to network and connect with other women in the golf business
    • Introduce golfers to key players in the industry
    • Career advancement
    • Leadership development
    • Raise awareness of the existing talent pool that have a passion for and interest in the game of golf and working in it

    ELIGIBILITY

    To receive consideration for admission to the program, an applicant must:

    • Have played women’s collegiate golf at any level their collegiate career.
    • Want to pursue a career in ANY area of the golf industry business
    • Be seeking full-time employment in the next 12 months
    • Complete the application process and submit all additional document

    Women of all ages are encouraged to apply.

      • In person attendance to the NCAA Women’s Division I Golf Championship
      • A behind the scenes look at PING
      • Comprehensive look at opportunities within the golf business
      • Roundtable networking session with key industry professionals
      • Panel discussion from golf industry companies and organizations
      • Updated headshot, resume updates and mock interview session

      • Current PGA professionals
      • Current industry professionals, including females working in the industry
      • College Coaches
